Contract placeholders

Contract templates and contract text use the same [Bracket] placeholder style as the rest of Bizinly's document texts — values come from the contract's own data, filled in at the contract's own language. A [Services] line on its own paragraph becomes a bulleted list of the contract's line items.

Writing a template

Templates are edited in Settings → Contract templates, with a rich-text editor: placeholder chips can be inserted at the cursor, and anything that looks like a placeholder but is not one is underlined and listed separately, so it is never mistaken for a real token. Every value is escaped before it is inserted, so nothing typed by a customer can add markup to the printed contract.
