App settings overview
What's under Admin in the sidebar, and who can use each part.
Admin, at the bottom of the sidebar under Global settings, is your workspace's own administration — separate from the day-to-day Settings menu that covers company details, document numbering and reference data (see Company and document settings and Reference data settings).
Who can open it
- Owner — the person (or people) who run the workspace: adds team members and can reach every Admin screen.
- Admin — a role you give a team member: everything except adding people and changing roles.
- On a workspace run by a single business with one person in charge, that person is simply both.
What's inside
| Screen | Who | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Team members | Owner | Add people, change roles, deactivate someone. See Team members and roles. |
| MCP & connections | Owner | Create and revoke the API keys that let Lucy, Claude and other assistants read and write your data. See Connect Bizinly to your own Lucy. |
| Global settings | Admin | Sign-up and sign-in, scheduled jobs, e-mail and SMS delivery, security and logging, file storage. See Installation settings. |
| Permissions | Admin | A matrix of what each role may view, add, edit, delete or export, screen by screen. See Team members and roles. |
| Layout | Admin | The navigation menu and the app's theme, for everyone. See Team members and roles. |
| Logs & security | Admin | Activity, sign-in attempts, server errors, blocked addresses and locked accounts. See Logs and security. |
A workspace hosting more than one business — an agency running several client instances, say — sets each of these independently per business.
