Every tool available to a connected Lucy, Claude or ChatGPT, in plain language.
Once you've connected your own Lucy, Claude or ChatGPT (see Connect Bizinly to your own Lucy), this is everything it can do in your Bizinly workspace — the same actions available from the screens themselves, just reachable from a conversation. Every one of them is checked against the signed-in permissions of whoever created the connection, and every write lands in your workspace's own activity log, exactly like a person clicking through the app.
This page describes each tool in plain language; developers integrating their own tooling should read the exact, current input for each one in Connect with MCP.
Customers
| Tool |
What it does |
| Search customers |
Find a customer by name or code. |
| Get a customer |
Open a customer's full profile — details, addresses, contacts, and the documents still open for them. |
Documents
| Tool |
What it does |
| Search documents |
Search quotes, orders, invoices, proformas and credit notes — and, where those modules are turned on, purchase orders and pipeline deals — filtered by type, status, customer, date range, or unpaid invoices only. |
| Get a document |
Open one document in full: its lines, totals, payments, and the other documents linked to it. |
| Create a document |
Draft a new quote, order, invoice, proforma or credit note — or a pipeline deal — for an existing customer or a new one, with the lines described in the conversation. A new customer with no exact match is created on the spot. |
| Update a draft's lines |
Replace the lines on a document that hasn't been issued or closed yet. |
| Move a document's status |
Move a document to its next allowed status — the same rules the status menu on screen enforces. For a pipeline deal, this moves it between stages. |
| Issue an invoice |
Assign a draft invoice or credit note its number and lock it. |
| Clone a document |
Start a new draft of the same type, copied from an existing document. |
| Create a credit note |
Create a credit note against an issued invoice. |
| Link two documents |
Manually connect two documents of different types, the same as the app's own linking. |
Payments
| Tool |
What it does |
| Record a payment |
Record a payment against an invoice, with an amount, a date and a payment method. |
Appointments
| Tool |
What it does |
| List appointments |
List appointments for one document, or across a date range — optionally narrowed to one team member. |
| Schedule an appointment |
Book an appointment on a document: when, who on your team is assigned, where, and a note. The assignee is added to the document's team and notified, same as booking it from the document itself. |
Messaging
| Tool |
What it does |
| Post a message |
Post a message to a document's own conversation, visible to your team. |
| E-mail a document |
E-mail a document's PDF to its customer, or to anyone else, the same as the app's own E-mail button. |
| Draft a payment reminder |
Draft a payment-reminder e-mail for an unpaid invoice — in English and Croatian, with the real amount and due date already filled in. |
Reports
| Tool |
What it does |
| Outstanding summary |
Open and overdue invoice totals, overall and broken down by customer. |
| Sales summary |
Totals by document type and status for a period — this month, last month, this quarter, this year, or all time. |
Import & export
| Tool |
What it does |
| Export customers / products |
Export your customers or products as a JSON list, or a CSV file. |
| Import customers / products |
Import customers or products from a CSV or JSON file. Always checks what would happen first and reports it back — nothing is written until that plan is confirmed. |
