USER GUIDE
Set up bank transfer
Show your account details and a scan-to-pay QR code on every shared invoice.
Bank transfer is the one way to pay that needs no provider account, no keys and no webhook — it's simply your own bank account details, shown on the pay page whenever your business has one on file.
What you need
A bank account added under Settings → Company and document settings (in the side rail), with:
- Account holder
- IBAN
- BIC
Add one or several accounts and mark one as the default — that's the one shown on the pay page. There's no separate switch for bank transfer: as soon as a default bank account exists, it appears there automatically alongside whatever other ways to pay you've switched on.
What the customer sees
The account holder, IBAN (with a copy button), BIC, bank name, and a reference pre-filled with the invoice number. If the invoice is in euros and the IBAN is valid, a scannable QR code appears alongside the details, letting most European banking apps pre-fill the transfer — amount, reference and all — just by scanning it. Invoices in other currencies show the same account details without the QR code; a bank transfer works for any currency, the QR code is a euro-specific convenience.
After the transfer
A bank transfer doesn't confirm itself the way a card or PayPal payment does — nobody notifies Bizinly when the money lands in your account. Once you see it arrive, record it the normal way from the invoice (see Record and manage payments); the invoice is marked paid at that point, exactly as for any other payment you enter by hand.
