USER GUIDE

Installation settings

Sign-up, e-mail, SMS, security and file storage for your whole workspace.

Admin → Global settings is where an administrator configures the installation itself, one section at a time, each with its own save.

  • Application information — your workspace's name, URL, support e-mail and description.
  • Registration & sign-in — whether new people can register themselves, whether a forgotten password can be reset, and any e-mail domains you want to block from signing up.
  • Scheduled jobs — the automatic jobs that create repeating invoices and send notification e-mails/SMS; each can be switched off for a quiet installation such as a demo workspace.
  • E-mail (SMTP) — send through your own mail server (host, port, security, username, password) so invoices, codes and notifications go out from your own domain; a Send test e-mail button confirms it works before you rely on it. Secrets are never shown back to the browser once saved.
  • SMS — a provider, account details and a Send test SMS button; once configured, the SMS column appears in the notification settings above.
  • Security & logs — account lockout after repeated failed sign-ins, IP blocking, an e-mail verification code for everyone, and whether activity and server errors are recorded. See Logs and security for where these show up, and Account security for what this means for your own sign-in.
  • File storage — use Bizinly's own storage, or point uploads at your own Amazon S3 or Cloudflare R2 bucket.

Every field here is saved per installation, so a single business can set it up once and never think about it again — while a workspace hosting several businesses can give each one its own values.
